The 2018 (1,500) Ribolla Gialla Brut M.C. is a sparkling white wine produced by Albino Armani Viticoltori since 1607, a historic winery in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. It comes from the vineyards of I Magredi, at the foot of the Carnic Alps of Alta Grave Friulana. This DOC expresses the elegance of the territory with loose soils rich in limestone gravel. The manual harvest, carried out in the second half of September, and the vinification with ageing in steel on its own lees ensure a quality product, characterised by a straw yellow colour and a fine perlage. Format: 1.5L Alcohol content: 12 Winery: Guyot, with rigorous winter pruning and precise interventions on the vegetation for the control of production and canopy. Harvest/Vintage: Manual, typically in the second half of September. Organoleptic notes: Straw yellow colour, with the presence of a fine perlage. Palate of excellent freshness and length; thanks to the well-balanced acidity, it has a broad and dry aftertaste and a long, savoury finish. Soil: Loose and aerated soils, very rich in limestone gravel from the Grave, brought by the flooding of the Meduna stream. Vineyard: I Magredi, at the foot of the Carnic Alps of Alta Grave Friulana. Vinification/Ageing: Early harvest with low yields to preserve the acidity of the grapes. The cuvée ages in steel on its own lees until the following spring, when the tirage is performed.
