The 2019 (1,500) KAPLJA BIANCO Etui is a still white wine produced by DAMIJAN PODVERSIC in the renowned region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. This DOC label is born from a careful manual selection of Chardonnay, Friulano, and Malvasia grapes, grown on marl and flysch (Ponca – Opoka) soils in vineyards located between Gradiscutta, San Floriano, Piedimonte, and Monte Calvario, at an altitude of 110 to 140 metres above sea level. Fermentation occurs in the presence of the skins in truncated cone oak vats for a period of 60-90 days, giving the wine a harmonious balance between aroma and structure.
