The 2020 TEROLDEGO ROTALIANO Reserve Ottavio is a still red wine produced by DE VIGILI in the heart of Trentino, Italy. This DOC elegantly expresses the identity of the territory thanks to 100% Teroldego grapes sourced from a small plot of ancient vines, some of which are probably over a hundred years old, selected from the Pasquari cru, a historic area dedicated to the cultivation of this indigenous grape variety. The soil, characterised by a layer of silt and gravelly-stony composition, contributes to the complexity of the wine, which is created through careful vinification in open 500-litre tonneaux, with particular attention to the selection of the most mature bunches and stems.
