Coming from the "Selva di Sotto" vineyard in the municipality of Staffolo, located 500 metres above sea level on a clay-limestone soil rich in stones, this DOCG wine represents the excellence of the Marche territory with careful and traditional winemaking. Vintage: 2020 Alcohol content: 13 Harvest/Vintage: Manual Organoleptic notes: The colour is straw yellow with still green reflections. The bouquet is intense, refined and persistent with notes of yellow flowers, minerality, and chalk. The taste is dry and elegant, with excellent body and great persistence. Soil: Very stony clay-limestone soil. Vineyard: 1.3 hectares of vineyard in the municipality of Staffolo, plot "Selva di Sotto", at 500 m above sea level, the highest vineyard in the municipality. Winemaking/Aging: The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed; the must is then fermented in cement tanks. After fermentation, aging on fine lees lasts for 12 months, also in cement tanks. A wine of great character and finesse, ideal for those wishing to discover the richness and complexity of Verdicchio from the Marche. Perfect to enjoy with fish dishes or white meats, it is an excellent choice to enrich one's cellar with a reserve of distinctive profile.
