The 2021 (1,500) Franciacorta Ros'e Brut M.C. by La Valle is an elegant expression of DOCG sparkling wine from Lombardy, Italy. This rosé wine is made from grapes hand-picked in crates with selection in the vineyard on morainic and calcareous soils, in the vineyards of La Valle, Roccolo and Tesa, at 250 metres above sea level. The winemaking process involves a slow and gentle pressing of whole bunches and fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature with indigenous yeasts, which preserve the fine and complex character of the product. Vintage: 2021 Alcohol content: 12.5 Winery: Guyot Harvest/Vintage: Manual in crates with selection in the vineyard. Organoleptic notes: Onion skin pink with white foam, very fine and persistent perlage. It has aromas of flowers (wild rose) and small red berries (raspberry). Fine and complex aroma, dry and pleasant taste. Soil: Morainic, calcareous Vineyard: La Valle, Roccolo and Tesa area 4 ha – planting density 2.20×0.90 – altitude 250 m a.s.l. – vines/Ha 4,500 – south exposure. Winemaking/Aging: Very slow and gentle pressing of whole bunches. Its delicate and consistent colour is due to the maturation of the skins under submerged cap. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (17-19°C) with indigenous yeasts to maintain the flavour and aromas of Franciacorta.
