(1,500) VERDECA PAS DOS'E Mavu' M.C. is a white sparkling wine produced by WENO – CANTINA IN VALLE D'ITRIA, located in the picturesque Apulian region of Valle D'Itria, in Locorotondo. This IGT label is made from hand-harvested grapes in 12 kg crates, grown on limestone soils with a medium texture at 340 metres above sea level. The winemaking process involves careful cooling of the grapes to 2°C for 12 hours, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation at low temperatures, ensuring a silky and refined sparkle. Alcohol content: 12 Vintage: Hand-harvested strictly in 12 kg crates. Organoleptic notes: The nose reveals notes of ripe apricot, hazelnut, and a slight hint of bread crust. On the palate, the silkiness of the bubbles, freshness, sapidity, and a slight balsamic note are present. Soil: Limestone with a medium texture in a hilly area at 340 m a.s.l. Vineyard: Valle D'Itria, Locorotondo Winemaking/Aging: Cooling of the grapes in a fridge at a temperature of 2°C for 12 hours, pressing of whole grapes with a yield not exceeding 50%, fermentation of the sparkling base at low temperatures.
