It comes from the hilly area of the Municipality of Formicola, at the foot of the Monte Maggiore mountain range in the province of Caserta, and is made from vineyards located on clay-limestone soils with volcanic intercalations, at an altitude of 300 metres with a south-east exposure. This white sparkling wine stands out for its particular vinification, with the harvest of the grapes taking place approximately four weeks earlier than for the Sheep base. Format: 0.75l Alcohol content: 12.5 Organoleptic notes: Wine with a straw-yellow colour and golden reflections, fine and persistent perlage. Evident aromas of broom and citrus, with a fresh taste and marked salinity. Soil: Clay-limestone with intercalations of volcanic materials; south-east exposure; altitude of 300 m a.s.l. Vineyard: Hilly area of the Municipality of Formicola, at the foot of the Monte Maggiore mountain range in the province of Caserta. Vinification\/Aging: The base for this sparkling wine is prepared exactly as for the Sheep, with the difference that the harvest time is brought forward by about four weeks.
