This IGT originates from the &quot;Taibo&quot; vineyard in Mercato Saraceno, situated 250 metres above sea level, on a soil rich in brown clays, silt, gravel and minerals. The cultivation follows certified organic methods, with grapes hand-picked in early October, and the winemaking involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and long maceration in oak vats, thus enhancing the typical characteristics of Sangiovese. Vintage: 2021 Alcohol content: 15 Winery: Trellis system with Guyot pruning Harvest\/Vintage: Entirely hand-picked in crates in early October. Organoleptic notes: Ruby red colour with violet reflections. Fine and elegant bouquet supported by hints of red fruits, sour cherry, blackberry. On the palate it is balanced, delicate and velvety; well-structured with a pleasant and persistent almond finish. Soil: Brown clays, silt, a lot of gravel and minerals. Vineyard: &quot;Taibo&quot; vineyard, Mercato Saraceno (FC). Altitude of 250 m above sea level, south-east exposure. Year of planting: 2003. Winemaking\/Aging: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, long maceration on the skins in conical oak vats with pump-overs.
