This organic IGT is made from Lagrein grapes grown in calcareous and mineral-rich soils, located 320 metres above sea level with an east-southeast exposure. The winemaking process occurs without the use of additives or sulphites, with spontaneous fermentation and natural malolactic fermentation, thus enhancing the authentic identity of the territory and organic viticulture. Vintage: 2021 Grapes: Lagrein Alcohol content: 12.5 Winery: Filare Harvest\/Vintage: Second half of September Organoleptic notes: Intense ruby red colour with violet reflections, fruity and lively aroma with notes of cherry, blackberry, plum and a subtle spiciness. Soil: Calcareous, silt 18-22%, rich in minerals, very rich in skeleton. Vineyard: East, southeast; 320 metres above sea level; 6000 plants per hectare. Winemaking\/Aging: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, no use of fermentation aids. No SO2 is used on the grapes or in the must. Malolactic fermentation: not controlled, usually completed fully.
