The 2023 HEMINA CUVEE is a still white wine produced by the Abbey of Pannonhalma. Characterised by a careful selection of grapes and meticulous vinification, this wine originates from sandy and wooded soils, expressing a refined aromatic complexity and a structural balance that defines its unique identity. Vintage: 2023 Alcohol content: 14 Winery: Guyot, low cordon Harvest/Vintage: From 9 to 30 September Soil: Sandy soil, wooded soil. Winemaking/Aging: The different varieties of ripe grapes are harvested separately. After destemming, the grapes are selected using an optical sorter and then pressed. The clarified juice is subsequently placed in 500-litre Hungarian oak barrels for fermentation. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in barriques, and the lees are regularly stirred for 6 months to enhance the complexity of the wine and enrich its aromas.
