The MOSCATO BIANCO Spumante Mario e il Pozzo M.C. Astucciato is a sparkling white wine produced by CASCINA CARL`O Claudio Mo, located in the renowned region of Piemonte, Italy. Coming from a unique vineyard in the municipality of Coazzolo, this sparkling wine reflects the elegance and freshness typical of Moscato Bianco, enhanced by meticulous manual harvesting and careful vinification that highlights the aromatic characteristics of the grape variety. Vintage: 2014 Alcohol content: 6.5 Winery: Guyot Harvest/Vintage: Manual in crates with selection in the vineyard. Organoleptic notes: Straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Fine and persistent perlage. Intense, delicate and enveloping nose with hints of acacia flowers, wisteria, peach and apricot. The palate is enveloped by fine and creamy notes; the typical aromaticity of the grape variety is never cloying. Soil: Substrate of clays, limestone marls, blue marls and tuff. Vineyard: Unique plot, 0.40 hectares in the municipality of Coazzolo, altitude 300m a.s.l., west-facing exposure, density 5,500 ha. Vinification/Aging: Brief maceration in press at 20°C. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature until reaching 4 degrees of alcohol. After 2 years in the well, the bottles are left to rest for a few months on the pupitres. Followed by disgorgement and corking. Yield per hectare: 80 q.li/Ha An ideal product for those who wish to appreciate a sparkling Moscato Bianco with a delicate and refined character, perfect for accompanying moments of conviviality or enriching a tasting of Piedmontese wines.
