The 2023 PETITE FRUITE by HERPE PAUL is a still red wine from the Languedoc region, more precisely from the Château Couderc vineyard located at the foot of the Corbières, near Narbonne. This area of rocky hills offers an ideal exposure for vine cultivation, ensuring a quality product. The harvest occurs at maturity, with controlled fermentation to preserve the typical organoleptic characteristics of this wine. Vintage: 2023 Alcohol content: 13% Organoleptic notes: Red colour with violet reflections, intense nose of ripe red fruit. Wide, soft, fruity palate with notes of jammy fruit. Spicy notes, silky tannin. Vineyard: Château Couderc is located a few hundred metres from Narbonne, at the foot of the Corbières. The vineyard extends over about fifteen hectares of rocky hills ideally exposed for vine cultivation. Winemaking/Aging: Harvested at maturity (around 13 degrees), the grapes are quickly placed in tanks. Fermentation lasts from 10 to 15 days. The grapes are lightly pressed, and the press juices are blended with the first juices. Yield per hectare: 35-45 hl/Ha The 2023 PETITE FRUITE presents itself as a balanced and harmonious wine, ideal for pairing with medium-structured dishes.
