The 2019 Agramante Cacc' e Mmitte di Lucera Bio* is a still red wine produced by Petrilli Paolo in the Puglia region of Italy. This DOC label, certified organic, is made from carefully selected grapes from vineyards located on very calcareous soils, which give the wine a unique personality. The harvest, carried out manually in several phases, allows for the full enhancement of the characteristics of the Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Bombino, and Nero di Troia grape varieties, the latter being particularly responsible for the new and distinctive aroma of this wine. Harvest/Vintage: Manual in crates with selection in the vineyard after mid-September for Sangiovese, at the beginning of October for Montepulciano and Bombino, in the last week of October for Uva di Troia. Winemaking/Aging: Soft crushing and destemming of whole grapes. Spontaneous fermentation in French and Slanovia truncated-conical oak vats and manual punch downs.
