The 2022 Ribolla Gialla from Ronco Severo is a dry white wine from the renowned Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy. Characterised by the IGT designation, it represents the authentic expression of the territory, made from carefully hand-picked grapes processed using traditional methods. Vintage: 2022 Alcohol content: 13% Harvest: Hand-picking of perfectly healthy and ripe grapes during late harvest. Soil: Ponca, a Friulian term for marl. Winemaking/Aging: Fermentation occurs in the presence of the skins in conical oak vats for 60 days without temperature control and without the use of selected yeasts, enzymes, etc. Soft pressing using a bladder press with a yield of 50-55% of the must. The wine is left to rest in 30 hl conical Slavonian oak vats for 24 months and remains in contact with the fermentation lees for about 12 months. It is then bottled during the waning moon in August without the aid of filtration and clarification.
