The 2021 AGLIANICO Irpinia Vigna Quattro Confini is a still red wine produced by Ferrara Benito in the renowned Campania region, Italy. Coming from vineyards located in Montemiletto (Av), this DOC expresses territorial identity through an intense ruby red colour and aromas of forest fruits, particularly sour cherry and violet. The harvest is carried out manually with careful selection in the vineyard at the end of October, while the winemaking involves whole grape crushing and medium maceration with fermentation in stainless steel. Vintage: 2021 Alcohol content: 14.3% Winery: Spalliera, guyot Harvest/Vintage: Manual in crates with selection in the vineyard at the end of October. Organoleptic notes: Ruby red colour, aroma of forest fruits particularly sour cherry and violet, with a dry, harmonious, and velvety taste. Soil: Clay-limestone Vineyard: Montemiletto (Av) area 3Ha – vines/Ha 6,000 – planting density: 2.50×0.80 – altitude 500-600 m a.s.l. – exposure east, west. Winemaking/Aging: Whole grape crushing and medium maceration for a few days with daily pump-overs until racking, fermentation of the must in stainless steel. Yield per hectare: 100 q.li/Ha A wine that pairs well with traditional dishes and moments of conviviality.
